Every tool on this site, the assisted living, in-home care, nursing home and memory care calculators, runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The state, room type, hours, or care level you select never leaves your device. There is no server-side log of what anyone enters, because there is nothing to send in the first place.
Standard web analytics record things like which pages get visited and roughly where from, the kind of data most websites collect to see what is useful and what isn't. This is aggregate traffic information, not a profile tied to your name.
If you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to us through a third-party form processor (Web3Forms) so we can reply. We keep that information only as long as needed to answer you, and we do not add it to a mailing list or hand it to anyone else.
A banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Declining does not block the calculators or the articles; it only limits the tracking cookies tied to analytics and ads.
This site runs Google AdSense, which can set its own cookies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your browsing elsewhere. Google's own policies, not ours, govern how that data is used; you can adjust ad personalization through Google's Ads Settings.
Because this is a health and eldercare site, we want to be direct: do not put a loved one's medical history, diagnosis, or financial account details into the contact form. Nothing here is built to store that kind of information securely, and none of it is needed to answer a general question or flag a correction.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will move. There is no separate notification list to sign up for.
